Leading motherboard manufacturer Gigabyte was holding a “Power user Technological Conference "on October 20, 2007, sharing the company's new motherboard, X48 chipset, and technologies with the power users. The hands-on displays at the technology fair used DDR2 1066+ memory modules supplied by A-DATA, one of the world's leading memory module brands; A-DATA and Gigabyte was collaborating to show how their products combine to create high performance for users, taking A-DATA's Vitesta Plus (+) series to unprecedented heights of performance.

When the A-DATA Vitesta DDR2 1066+ is combined with Gigabyte X48-DQ6 motherboard (with the overclocking settings performed manually), users can get maximum performance from the A-DATA DDR2 1066+ module. Besides helping computer novices to achieve optimal computing speed, the A-DATA-plus-Gigabyte combination also gives power users greater opportunities to tweak memory timing to meet their own personal preferences. Providing just the right balance between stability and performance, A-DATA-plus-Gigabyte takes overclocking to a whole new level.

A-DATA's DDR2 1066 + memory modules support data transmission speed of 8.5GB per second. The modules use Micron IC, with 64m  8 FBGA packaging. With 1GB capacity, the modules are well able to support the needs of 3D gaming platforms. To ensure long-term stability, extensive burn-in testing was performed on the DDR2 1066+ modules in the early stages of development, and rigorous dual-channel testing is implemented throughout the production process.
