Abang abang sekalian. saya punya mobo asus p5k se. mau mengunakan procesor c2d e6550. Diwebside asus dikatakan bahwa harus mengupdate bios dulu baru bisa mengunakan procesor ini. apa betul? Bagaimana seandainya update bios gagal?

1. Sediain UPS untuk backup PLN.
2. Download bios http://support.asus.com/download/dow...Language=en-us
3. Copy ke usb flashdisk (diformat dulu jd FAT32).
4.Pencet Alt+F2 waktu udah keluar boot menu.
5.Or bawa ke Astrindo untuk update bios....gratis

iya bro...kalo bisa diback-up dulu bios asli-nya dg flashdisk (biasanya ada di CD bawaan MB) supaya kalo gagal flashing punya back-upnya.

coba pake live update lebih mudah, kalau ngga salah di driver nya sudah ada software untuk update bios..

copy aja bios yang ada di CD bawaan MB biasanya ekstensi-nya .ROM (xxxx.ROM)
Bios terbaru download aja di www.asus.com.tw
update bios lewat Asus EZ FLASH aja (saat booting tekan ALT+F2). Pilih bios update terbaru yg udah dicopy di flashdisk trus tekan ENTER. Otomatis akan update sendiri tunggu sampe restrart sendiri.

tapi pas lagi update pc jangan sampe mati ya..bisa beresiko
