Ini yang bikin saya kesel.
No OC?! Bahkan di Biostar TForce yang terkenal enak di OCnya? Bah! Kayaknya saya bakal skip 690G dan tunggu Nvidia 7050 deh.My only gripe about the board: despite having all the tweaking options available in the BIOS, the board can barely overclock. Even after I plop in a better cooler like the Scythe Mine with a 120mm fan, the board still refuses to budge even 5Mhz off stock HTT. Honestly speaking, I wouldn't expect this board to fare too well in overclocking as it's not the main purpose the board's designed for in the first place..

Nggak perlu tinggi2 lah.. Saya cuman perlu 20-25% doang kok. Kalo nggak bisa di OC sama sekali (nggak bisa naikin bahkan 5 MHz menurut quote di atas), itu mah konyol banget. Apalagi untuk Biostar TForce. Kalo ECS atau Foxconn sih boleh aja nggak bisa di OC. Dan sudah begitu kayak meledek lagi melihat opsi-opsi dari BIOSnya yang sudah kayak DFI LanParty gitu.

Anyway, ada harapan sedikit lah untuk OC motherboard ini. Menurut Anandtech forum, BIOS revisi sangat berpengaruh pada OC. Ini quotenya dari Gary Key, reviewer mobonya dari Anandtech.
Sudah 240 HTT, 20% OC. Kalo bisa lewat 250HTT (25%) dan stabil, saya sih happy dehWe have received 5 BIOS releases from Biostar for the board. They are using the reference ATI, err AMD, BIOS so all options are open and it looks just like a DFI LanParty board in the BIOS setup. Unfortunately, the boards are just not overclocking well at this point and AMD is working on it. Their goal is to get to 300HTT stable, right now I am at 240HTT on the Biostar, the first BIOS would not post past 215HTT so they are slowly getting there.

wah enak tuh, socket powernya diujung, enak buat case reverse ga ribet kek 965pt yg ditengah2 banget.
Btw biosnya mesti nunggu mod kek rebel haven bios punya apa emang memble abis buat kemampuan oc ya? Sayang banget tuh dikasih nama Tforce klo memble.

kayaknya itu keburu2 dalam menjudge deh...
memang gw sempet kaget.... pas gw liat di website amd-ati.com itu...
disana ditulis kalo produk BIostar TA690G ini ga bisa overclock...
tapi kayanya ada masalah di BIOSnya...
so, tunggu revisi terakhir en klo ni mobo dah masuk market indo...
gw bakal posting hasil reviewnya koq...
btw, kalo mau solusi untuk yang GeForce 7050...
bisa menggunakan mobo BIOSTAR TFORCE TF7050-M2

so, kalo mo NVIDIA bisa pilih TF7050-M2
en, kalo mo ATI bisa pilih TA690G-M2

Tolong yah. Sekalian kasih tahu juga harganya kira2 berapa. Kalo di bawah $80 untuk takaran Indo, mobo ini worth it banget.
