iya, seperti kata rotikeren, dicek aja dulu servis2 yang dibutuhkan, mungkin blm jalan, tapi biasanya sih otomatis langsung dijalankan servisnya ketika ada yang butuh.
Upgrade kernel sebenarnya ga sulit kok:
donlod dari http://kernel.org trus ekstrak bisa ke /usr atau taru di /home bisa juga ntar tinggal buat link ke sana.
abis itu sebagai root pada kernel source:
# make oldconfig
# make menuconfig , edit sesuai kebutuhan, simpan
# make
# make modules
# make modules_install
# make install
asumsi cara di atas adalah boot-loader pake GRUB, setauku debian pake GRUB

tapi debian 4.0 etc . hehe
itu lebih mudah apa gmna (debian 4.0 etc-nya) ??

ngga bos .
debian 3.0 ternyata hanya support HDD yg menggunakan IDE dan RAM DDR 1
sedangkan ane pake HDD sata ma RAM DDR2 ..
