Star Ocean PSP Limited Edition photos revealed

Last month we reported that there would be a Limited Edition PSP carrying the Star Ocean theme.

At the time however, there were no available photographs showing off the casing so anticipation was left at a minimum. Today that anticipation may be able to rise as finally a batch of photos was revealed showing off the Star Ocean themed PSP, its casing, and Box art.





The limited edition Star Ocean pack is expect to be around 24,840 yean, which clocks in at around USD 216. The current release date is set for December 27 in Japan. No word yet on a possible North American or European release, though there’s nothing to stop enthusiasts checking out Yes Asia or Play Asia for all your import needs.

Star Ocean: First Departure is a new and improved version of the SNES title, which is to feature all new cut-scenes and CG animation, new characters, and recorded dialog to tell the story of the original game, albeit with a modern day twist.

PSP earphones and remote get redesigned



The PSP is changing in ways we never expected. The earphone and remote accessory is changing for the new PSP-2000. As you can see, the remote now has a reconfigured button layout -- could it be more intuitive than the original? We're assuming that the PSP-2000 requires this new remote due to the changed AV-compatible headphone jack.

New PSP Firmware Due Out Next Month



According to a posting on the official PlayStation Asia site, a new firmware upgrade for the PSP is due out next month. The update will fix an issue with Japanese PSone title Bio Hazard Director’s Cut.

Since the firmware is coming out in September — it’s a good chance that PSP-2000 (PSP Slim) models will come preloaded with this firmware.

OMG!!! bisa bro si USBLOADER tadi...!!

memang ternyata dibutuhkan file tambahan seperti usbhostfs.prx yang musti kita taro di psp, dan juga usbhostfs.exe di komputer...

so oke ini complete sequence yang gue lakukan...
1. download file kedua yang ada di post gue sebelumnya, yang namanya usbhostfs_PC_win_1.7b.rar. extract di hardisk yang cukup longgar, karena kita akan masukin iso psp ke folder iso disini nanti.

2. cari file usbhostfs.prx didalamnya

3. extract file USBISOLoader versi 0.5 yang ada di post gue sebelumnya. maka akan didapatkan folder "usbisoloader" dengan isi 5 file. di folder ini tambahkan file usbhostfs.prx tadi

4. kopi folder "usbisoloader" berikut usbhostfs.prx didalamnya ke folder PSP/Game3xx di MSD. file "usbhostfs.prx" sudah gue masukkan di download kedua tadi ya...

5. back to usbhostfs_PC_win_1.7b.rar. setelah tadi diextract, akan muncul sekian file dan folder. cari folder ISO (nanti game yang mau kita maenin bakal taro disini), dan cari file usbhostfs.exe.

6. execute usbhostfs.exe

7. jalankan USBISOLoader via XMB GAME di PSP. windows akan meminta driver, arahkan ke folder usbhostfs_PC_win_1.7b/driver (or, kalo gue cuma usbhostfs_PC_win_1.7b di vista) yang tadi diextract...

8. kalo berjalan lancar, akan muncul layar biru (bukan BSOD lho... ) dengan tulisan USB ISO LOADER 0.5 by psp.padawan press O to continue... press O

9. setelah ini akan ditampilkan ISO apa aja yang kita taro di folder ISO tadi...

10. gue menyesal, dan pengen beli kabel USB yang tipe 2.0...
