Dengan budget max US$2000, mesti pilih yang mana ya ... maunya sih yang for all purpose + reliable + after sales servicenya ok. Bisa buat maen game2 3D, multimedia, internet, web design, application/software development.

Bisa buat maen game 3D?
Well..
1) Compaq X1000
2) ACER Aspire 1683
Keduanya punya harga2 mirip2 (1600 US$-an)..
Knp gw recommend kedua lappy diatas? Krn ud pake radeon 9600/9700 bok..

Acer Ferrari 3200. Sekitar $2090 kalo nggak salah. Beda dikit.. A64, 512, DVDRW, 9700

Iyah FERRARI boleh jg tuh.. spec kenceng, merahnya ga nahaan, dpt mouse keren ferrari, lux abiss, tp rada berat aja hehehe..
Cocok sbg desktop replacement, not recommended for business traveller or high mobility user.

kalo urusan aftersales kayaknya yg paling top Toshiba dan IBM.
favorit saya sih Thinkpad...sekali coba gak bisa ke lain hati

thinkpad seri r masih di bawah usd2000, cmiiw. dah punya r40 ampir setaun. ga pernah ada masalah hardware. beda ama temen gua yang beli acer dengan waktu ampir samaan...

wah, klo setaun, saya juga punya sharp yg belinya cuma sekitar $1200 dan sebelum beli desktop akhir desember kemaren tuh laptop hampir tiap hari dipake, diajak jalan-jalan dsb dan sampe sekarang sama sekali gak ada masalah...^_^ tapi gak tau deh ada di ina atau gak...^_^-dr-
