    Processor Guide For Notebook



    Berikut daftar mobile processor Intel berdasarkan pengkodean dari daya yang digunakan. Semakin kebawah semakin kecil daya yang digunakan

    T
    xxxx = TDP 30-39W
    Pxxx = TDP 20-29 W
    Lxxx = TDP 12-19W
    Uxxx = TDP less than or equal to 11.9W

    First to know :

    FSB
    FSB pada prosesor sangat berhubungan dengan FSB pada memory, jadi jika prosesor NB anda mempunyai FSB 533 Mhz alangkah sangat tidak cocok dimasukan dengan memory yang mempunyai FSB 800 Mhz.

    TDP
    TDP adalah daya yang digunakan oleh prosesor, jadi semakin kecil TDP yang digunakan maka umur daya baterai akan lebih bertahan lama begitu juga dengan sebaliknya.

    SBS
    AMD uses a different system for controlling memory. HyperTransport (what AMD uses) works in a different way than FSB. Long explanation, but the end result is that AMD ends up having faster memory access times. IN the grand scheme of things though, Intel is holding the performance crown.

    TDP

    Nice thread. Tp kalo boleh usul, mestinya dilengkapi informasi kolom performance prosesor, misal procie seri T itu sangat cocok (excellent) untuk word processing, skala menengah untuk graphics editing, tapi tidak cocok untuk gaming; procie seri P sangat cocok untuk word processing, graphics editing dan gaming, dsb...dsb..

    trus buat Core 2 uda ngdukung instruksi EMT64 (AMD64-nya Intel ) gag ditulis bro?
    dan tntang cache 6MB,,, setau gw sih smua seri Intel 9xxx (T9300, P9300, dll) emg cache 6 MB smua bro

    Kalo menurut pemikiran awam ane betul nggak begini :

    Krn jalur data ke Memory lebih lebar (800 MHZ) dari pada processor (533MhZ) nggak masalahkan, krn kecepatan processor tdk terhalang (bottleneck), dibanding kalau FSB Memory yg lebih rendah dari FSB Processor shg ketika procie kirim data jadi Bottleneck ..

    Memang yg ideal adalah yg sama.

    Jadi kalo pernyataan di atas tidak cocoknya dimana & bgmn ?? gw juga kagak tahu, tapi cuman pake logika aja.

    Krn kayak Notebook ane yg skrg kan Procienya P8600 (2.4 Gh yg ber FSB 1066 Mhz), berarti kalo idealnya kan pake memory ber FSB 1066 / DDR2 PC8500. Tapi krn yg di pake DDR2 PC6400 jadi bottleneck yak ???

    Tolonk dung penjelasannya
