5. At the end of June 2007 there will be a grand prize awarded to the contestant that can best describe his journey from low benchmark scores to his current better scores in the estimation of the panel of judges whose decisions will be final. In this judging for the grand prize, the judges will not only take the contestant’s posted essay into account, but will also be taking into account the contestant’s helpfulness in the forum during the competitions and the contestant’s overall scoring in ALL the Hwbot benches and not only his scoring in 3Dmark2006 as was the case for the first, second and third phase competitions. This grand prize will consist of two (2) Ocz 8800GTX video cards; one (1) 2x1gig kit of Ocz ram; one (1) Ocz 1000 watt ProExtreme type power supply and also one (1) Ocz air-cooled cpu cooler.
Whom may compete for prize consideration?
Persons using Ocz Memory and willing to have their Hwbot benchmark scores listed as part of the Ocz Benchmark Team rankings. This means during the period of time for which the competition is in progress and one wishes to be considered for prizes awarded by Ocz, that person will not be benching for any other team and/or contributing to another teams Hwbot rankings. (No person working for or beta testing Ocz products may compete for prize consideration). Persons wishing to be considered for prizes will also be required to follow the rules of the competition.
Simplified:
1. Use of Ocz memory required for prize consideration.
2. Competitors will have their Hwbot scores listed to Ocz Benchmark Team rankings for prize consideration.
3. Persons working for Ocz or beta testing products for Ocz are not eligible for prize consideration.
4. Rules of the competition must be followed to be considered for any prizes that will be awarded.
5. Remember that this is a competition and not just some forum thread. A competition has rules to be followed. Failure to comply with all rules will result in one failing to have opportunity to win. There will be a panel of judges and the decision of the judges will be final in all situations.

Take special note:
1. NO membership on multiple teams.
2. Why should I join hwbot and not just submit my scores in my monitored forum?
3. Can I change teams? What happens to my scores when I change? REMEMBER in changing teams; which you must for prize consideration, that the memory in use must be Ocz.
How to enter your 3Dmark2006 scores for internal tabulation in order to be considered for any prize at phase one, phase two and phase three. TAKE NOTE: You will need to have your scores first entered/tabulated by Hwbot for the Ocz Benchmark Team. This is how to have your scores considered for internal tabulation and prize consideration. Will cover entry for the grand prize later below. Remember that any incorrect or not-as-specified entry will disqualify you from a chance to win.

GRAND PRIZE with Ocz Memory
6. How to compete for the Grand Prize which will be awarded after the close of competitions at the end of June 2007. This special Grand Prize category is open to both AMD and INTEL platforms. The Grand Prize winner may not be the competitor with the ‘highest’ scores, but the winner will certainly be skilled. Skilled because he understands what and how he reached his specific ‘bests’ and is able to present that ‘Your Grand Prize Submission’ in a helpful and eye-catching and interesting manner, that will catch the attention of the panel of judges whom will decide the Grand Prize winner based on how each Grand Prize entrant has contributed to the forum during this 90 day competition. Each competitor's overall Hwbot scores and how the competitor's “single” long or short post is presented in Tell us your story! In competing for the Grand Prize you can have your post made up of each step in your journey to the score or scores you have during the competition and add to that “SAME” post over the course of the competition or you could sit and write your story all at one time to be fully posted by the end of competition on the last day of June 2007.
Here are two examples, in my opinion, of skilled presentation and interesting chronicling of one’s own journey with his rig. Example #1: User Burlnutt, goes from box to clocked and with what and how! Example #2: User Loggan26 shows how to go from box to up and running with his rig! Each of those users presents both a word and picture report of their progression. Something similar has good prospects for winning in the Grand Prize competition and a post or that single post continuing up to the last day of June 2007, coupled with a competitor’s contributions in general during the competition time frame will be the criteria that will catch the panel of judges eye and allow the judges to declare the Grand Prize winner. Each judge will cast his vote for the Grand Prize winner and the decision of the judges shall be final. Do your best to make your post for winner of the Grand Prize, one that is eye-catching; readable; informative and be of help to others. We think the Grand Prize is worth your best and most skilled effort. Good luck to all and good competing.
