radiator coolant hanya berfungsi untuk menaikan titik didih air dan menjaga sistim pendinginan agar bersih. Biasanya coolant juga mempunyai aditif seperti anti-freeze, dimana ini menurunkan titik beku air.
Hati2, ada beberapa jenis coolant yang merusak. Kalau bisa pilih yg berbahan dasar dari ethylene glycol. dan juga, perhatikan kemasannya. Kalau kemasan yg 1 liter, bisa dipastikan coolant tsb adalah yg jenis concentrated. artinya HARUS dicampurkan dengan air. Perbandingannya (dlm konteks ini utk Watercooling pada PC). 85:15 atau max 80:20.
FYI, coolant/antifreeze/aditif tidak memperbaiki kinerja sistim pendinginan secara SIGNIFIKAN. Bahkan utk wc pd pc, malah menghambat kinerja pendinginan.
