Install Instructions for Custom Firmware 3.51 / 3.52 M33:

1. Download the 'M33 Custom Firmware' Installer.
2. Connect your PSP to your computer and create a USB Connection.
3. Unrar the Custom Firmware Installer:
If you have the Official Sony 1.50 firmware then unrar the installer to the 'PSP / GAME' folder.
If you have Custom Firmware already installed, extract the installer to the 'PSP / GAME150' folder.

(You can also choose 'Extract to here' and copy the new folders to the appropriate folder... see above)

4. Close USB connection and disconnect USB cable from your PSP.

5. If you have 'Sony Firmware 1.50', go to the Game -> Memory Stick menu and run the 'Kxploit Permanent Patcher'
program, This patches your 'Sony Firmware 1.50' PSP so it can run the Custom Firmware installer.
(Note: Ignore the 'Corrupted Data' Icon in the game menu, don't delete it as its part of the 'Kxploit Patcher' program)

If you already have a 'Custom Firmware' version installed then you can skip this step and go to step 6.

6. Go to the Game -> Memory Stick menu and run the '3.52 M33UPDATE' program.

You will need to have 75% or more battery power to Install the Custom Firmware.
This is a 'safety measure' to make sure you have enough battery power so your PSP won't brick during the update.
Note: You can skip the battery check by holding the 'Triangle' and 'L' buttons just before the 'Sony Bootscreen' disappears.

7. Press "X" to start the upgrade to Custom Firmware.
8. Once Custom Firmware was been installed you will be asked to press "X" to turn off your PSP and manually restart.
9. Turn your PSP back on and you will now have Custom Firmware Installed.
10. Set the Time and Date of your PSP and configure the 'Recovery' Mode' options (see next post)
11. Format your memory stick using your PSP. This gives you a clean memory stick and erases any 'left-over' files.

Install Instructions for Custom Firmware 3.71 M33:

You must have Custom Firmware 3.52 M33-4 installed before you can upgrade to Custom Firmware 3.71 M33.
If you don't have Firmware 3.52 M33-4 installed, scroll down to the 'Custom Firmware 3.52 M33' section.

1. Download the 'M33 Custom Firmware' Installer and Update.
2. In recovery mode, make sure the 'Kernel Mode' is set to 3.52 Kernel.
Hold 'R', Turn on PSP -> Configuration -> Game Folder Homebrew (3.52 Kernel)

3. Connect your PSP to your computer and create a USB Connection.
4. Extract the Custom Firmware Installer, and copy the UPDATE folder into the PSP \ GAME folder.
5. Close and disconnect the USB cable and go to the Game -> Memory Stick Menu.

6. Run the 'PSP Update ver 3.71', you will need to have over 78% battery power.
7. If you have a corrupted idstorage because of a downgrader the program will ask you to fix it so the update can continue.
8. Press X and the Sony updater will begin and write the official 3.71 firmware files. (The custom firmware files will be written in the next step.)
The 'Sony updater' screen is normal, go through the firmware update process like you would install an official update.

9. When finished, the updater will ask you to reboot, Press the X or O button to write the 'custom firmware' files and finish the install.
(Do not skip this step as turning off / restarting the PSP will brick your PSP)

10. You should now have firmware 3.71 M33, now you will need to install the update.
11. Go to the Game -> Memory stick menu, highlight the "PSP Update ver 3.71"
Press Triangle, choose 'Delete', select 'Yes' and press 'X' to delete the installer from your memory stick.


Installing 3.71 M33 Update 3:

1. Connect your PSP to your computer using a USB cable and make a USB connection.
2. Extract the 'Custom Firmware Update 3' file and copy the UPDATE folder into the PSP \ GAME folder.
3. Close the USB connection and disconnect the USB cable

4. Go to the Game -> Memory Stick menu and start the '3.71 M33-3' update.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions. (Press 'X' and you'll see a few files being updated)

6. Go to the Game -> Memory stick menu and select the '3.71 M33-3' update
Press triangle, choose delete and select yes and press 'X'.

7. You should now have Custom Firmware 3.71 M33-3 installed on your PSP.
You can check the firmware version using the 'Settings -> System Settings -> System Information' menu.

nambahin dikit.
Waktu proses sudah mencapai 99%, mungkin agak lama utk mencapai 100%. Itu normal. Temen gw ada yg nyangka error, kemudian dimatiin secara manual, alhasil PSPnya jadi brick. Jd tungguin sampe bener2 selesai.
Oh ya jgn lupa matiin semua plug ins nya. Terutama utk PSP lite. Jgn lupa.

kalo game, gue masih berkutat ma burnout legends (dah pengen maen dominator sih), MOH:Heroes, afterburner paling... duuuuuh... padahal dah pengen banget maen monster hunter lagi...
