Salam kenal buat semua. Saya baru daftar disini hari Sabtu kemarin dan baru belajar foto, jadi mohon petunjuk dari rekan rekan semua.
Mohon tanya… dalam artikel tentang tes lensa ada beberapa istilah yang saya tidak mengerti. Seperti dalam CHIP FOTO VIDEO no 4/2007 dalam tes lensa Tamron 18-250 terdapat istilah VIGNETTE, yang mencapai 2,5 stop dan mencapai 1,6 stop. Apa artinya.
Juga ada DISTORSI, CHROMATIC ABERRATION.

Vignette : sudut2 ato sisi gelap yang terjadi di gambar...biasanya sih pada lensa2 yang focal length nya wide...mungkin yang di maksud dengan vignetting mencapai 2,5 / 1,6 stop itu adalah tingkat kegelapan dari sudut2 tsb...

Distorsi : efek yang menyebabkan gambar yang berbeda dengan asli nya (IMHO loh...ini gw menerjemahkan pendapat gw sendiri )...AFAIK ada beberapa jenis distorsi :
- barrel distortion : efek nya menmbuat gambar jadi agak melengkung di ujung2 nya...lebih jelas lihat disini : http://www.dpreview.com/learn/?/Glos...tortion_01.htm

Chromatic Aberration : ato color fringging...kalo baca definisi dari DPreview agak ribet tapi kurang lebih begini :

Chromatic aberration or "color fringing" is caused by the camera lens not focusing different wavelengths of light onto the exact same focal plane (the focal length for different wavelengths is different) and/or by the lens magnifying different wavelengths differently. These types of chromatic aberration are referred to as "Longitudinal Chromatic Aberration" and "Lateral Chromatic Aberration" respectively and can occur concurrently. The amount of chromatic aberration depends on the dispersion of the glass.


Longitudinal or Axial Chromatic Aberration
Focal length varies with color wavelength


Lateral or Transverse Chromatic Aberration
Magnification varies with color wavelength
