baur beli dari chipper..
DVD-RW Lite-On LH-16A1S
tapi, sampe sekarang gw gatau gimana cara masangnya


mohon bantuan mbah2 disini...
di BIOS ke detect, tapi begitu booting windows nya...
progress bar windows nya jalan...
tapi sampe 10 menit, ga masuk2 ke windows...

HELP...
HELP.....
PLEASE HELP....

(puyeng2 gw jual juga tuker IDE aja negh bisa2 )

bro sudah install win di HDD ? setting CD-RW dulu atau HDD dulu ? takutnya HDD belum ada OS .

Komputer gw dah jalan bro, gw mo nambahni DVD-RW doang...
sebelumnya dah ada DVD-ROM, install WINXP pake DVD-ROM.

setelah install semua driver bawaan mobo ma vga...
gw mo nyolokin DVD-RW...lha kok ga bisa2

DVDRW ku SATA langsung colok gak masalah ? BOOT saya set first : HDD
second baru DVDRW
coba aja lepas DVDRW, bebas masalah gak ? kalau gak berarti masalah di DVDRW dan BIOSnya

hmmm...
problem solved bro...
gw ikutin kata2 lu barusan bro...
gw cabut...
BIOS gw set default...
gw jalanin dulu normal sekali (tanpa DVD-RW)
gw shut down...
gw colokin lagi DVD-RW nya...
gw ga peduliin nongol ato ga di BIOS (dan memang gak nongol)
but, guess what...

windows jalan normal...
DVD-RW ke detect...

kesimpulan gw...
neh BIOS PENIPU!

dari tadi nongol di BIOS, gw utak-atik...malah stuck di booting windows...
tapi begitu di BIOS gak nongol dan ga gw peduliin...
eh malah ke detect ma windowsnya...

any explanation? BIOS nya MENIPU, ato memang demikian tanda2nya yg bener (BIOS ga detect tapi WINDOWS detect dan jalan (blom gw pake nge burn...mo mandi dulu...cape ngurusin ini doang dah ada 3 jam an... )?

Thread yang menarik. Gw rasa pemecahan masalah yang bro alami ada di langkah berikut ini:

Sepertinya memang ada yang salah dengan settingan BIOSnya.

Btw, coba masuk BIOS (berani gak yah?) dan lihat aja di bagian SATA channelnya. Masa gak terdeteksi juga di situ?
Normalnya harus terdeteksi dulu oleh BIOS mobo, baru bisa berjalan normal di Windows.
