jgn bingung baca judul gw yak, soalnya untuk pertama kalinya, AV8 gw bisa ngedeteksi suhu dgn "benerrr", setelah gw update bios ke versi 24,
bios 17 : idle 49, full load 63
bios 20 : idle 47, full load 60
bios 21 : idle 47, full load 60
bios 24 : idle 37, full load 47
akhirnya gw bisa juga liat suhu <40, gitu dong abit, ada perbaikan, nice works!
gw saranin buat pengguna mobo abit lain kalo mengalami masalah suhu (idle winnie 47C..??) juga update bios terbaru dehh

Sorry klupaan... sensor suhu mobo ngaco bukan cuma AV8, mobo gw (KV8pro) juga ngaco... ada yang menarik kalo soal mobo gw (dr forum abit) :
in my opinion, Abit is just lowering down the threshold and assuming it to be fixedWalopun bukan pernyataan resmi, tapi masuk akal...And yes, Abit is lowering the threshold and assuming it to be fixed. This new, lower temperature is most likely a "calibration/best guess" for Newcastle CG Athlon64's and some Semprons also, since the older C0 Clawhammers (2800+,3700+ included) were easier to calibrate for...hence the fix for clawhammers in bios 17. I would imagine Abit programmers are trying to satisfy the larger group since the Newcastle socket754's are a lot more common.
SO.. ARE U SURE YOU HAVE THE REAL TEMP ???Y

yakin dong, ada kasus, masih dari Abit-usa forum, dia pake a64 3200+, pake av8 suhu idle 45C, pas ganti DFI Lanparty idle jadi 37C (he look so happy..)
mo diturunin secara "paksa" juga gw gak peduli, yg penting inilah real temp dari winchester. en kalo emang diturunin paksa, itu berarti sensor uGuru yg error!

saya pake KV8pro..setelah update ke bios 23..suhu jadi 29 celcius..n full 34 celcius..

Prosesornya apa ?? gw jg kemaren nyoba bios 23... pake A64 2800+ clawhammer... biasanya idle di 32C, pas update jadi 22C.. jadi ngeri, akhirnya gw balikin lagi ke bios 17 blander's mod Originally Posted by nonong

yak, ngerepotin en nambah jumlah kabel "melayang" dalam casing, shg mengurangi sirkulasi udara, kecuali pake casing Full ATX, kalo gw sih, cukup berharap pada bios aja..
kalo gw liat dari selisih idle-full load, kayaknya smartguardian lebih "menjanjikan" daripada thermalprobe, masa selisih nya cuman 5C, cukup mustahil, pake WatreCooling aja belum tentu bisa gitu!
