Zotac launches a new compact mini computer, the ZBOX Giga ID70 Plus.
Until now, if we had used to the Zacate or Atom platforms, this new Zbox Giga cast the rest by incorporating an Intel® Core i3 2100T so it will face to face with de ASRock mini PCs.
Boost your performance in a compact mini-PC with the ZOTAC ZBOX Giga ID70 Plus powerd by an Intel Core i3 and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 430. The ZOTAC ZBOX Giga ID70 Plus mini-PC is an enthusiast, full of features in a compact size which includes 4GB of DDR3 memory, slot-load Blu-ray drive, 320GB hard drive, quad-display capabilities and 8 channels HD digital and analog audio.
Its front highlights a 4x Bluray and card reader. On one side the power button and the infrared receiver.
In terms of connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 allows the ZOTAC ZBOX Giga ID70 Plus to connect to your wired or wireless home networkat high speed. TheZOTAC ZBOX Giga ID70 Plus is a powerful system with hardware acceleration capabilities for a Blu-ray 3D and HD video streaming and getting a fantstic and perfect smooth playback experience.
The rear has a unparalleled video connectivity, so you can connect your computer to various digital display devices. The rest is as usual, USB 3.0 ports and eSata, plus dual-antenna wireless n for a more stable connection.
After the data provided by Zotac, the first thing that stands out in this deivce is its casing, fully perforated and with a brushed aluminum finish, at least it is what it’s look like, because there’s anything about its construction in the manufacturer’s website.
Its size is 210 x 210 x 67.5 mm, somewhat smaller than the HfX Micro M2 which slightly reminds us. In addition to perforation on the top cover and sides, this box has two fans on its side, possibly 60 or 50mm.
Within the computer hardware we highlight the Intel Core i3 2100T (2.5 GHz, dual-core) with a TDP of just 35W, and Nvidia GT430. It is certainly a good mix, for its power, and the possibility of using “Virtu” technology to switch between the builtin and the discrete graphics in the Core i3, This way will save energy as a the system requirements needs. All this spiced up by the latest Intel chipset Z68.
Certainly looks spectacular sure will be reflected in numerous sales, I do not mind having one in my living room.
